NUESTRA SEÑORA DEL SOCORRO CHURCH

In the place where the current church is constructed, it was founded a shrine towards 1555. In 1915 the former shrine was demolished and with the sale of the materials and the contributions of the neighbors it was started to build the current church.

The 20th February 1930 the construction is finished. The 28th September 1944 it is proclaimed the erection decree of Nuestra Señora del Socorro parish.

It is a church of eclectic style. It looks like a Medieval, Romanic and Mudejar church, with canted arches and bricks. The ionic columns of the façade recall to the greek and roman styles. The structure of the bell tower is posterior to its construction.

The interior is formed by an only nave with a gable roof and flashy stained glass windows at the laterals; on the other hand, it is remarkable the head of the church with a semicircular form which has been connected to the rest by an archway.
